MARTY MAIDENBERG, MA, LMHC, NCC
Meet Marty
Psychotherapist
My name is Marty Maidenberg, and I am a Licensed and Nationally Certified Mental Health Counselor practicing in both New York and Connecticut. I earned my MA (LMHC) from New York University.
For 15+ years, I have specialized in offering a safe space for individuals and/or couples to address such issues as depression, anxiety, relational conflict, personal growth, career stagnation, and the cumulative trauma related to the complex and confusing times we are living through.

Are you seeking a therapist who won't make stereotypical assumptions or offer quick, generic fixes? Are you looking for someone who will honor your unique story? Are you looking for a place where you can feel safe enough to say everything you need to say? Are you struggling to find your path forward?
Getting started.
How we can work together...

What will we talk about?
During our sessions, I will work to get to know you and we will talk about how to cope with any self-defeating thinking. Working from a cognitive behavioral model, we will address inner dialogue and beliefs and see if they create negative patterns that get in the way of experiencing life to the fullest.
Specialties
I specialize in Depression, Self-Esteem, and Relationships. In my practice, I work with presenting issues including:
Anger Management
Anxiety
Codependency
Communication
Coping Skills
Emotional Disturbance
Grief
LGBTQ+
Life Coaching
Men’s Issues
Most of my clients see a lifting of symptoms within the first month and sustained improvement thereafter.
What about cost?
My rate for a 50-minute session is $225 for individuals and $250 for couples. I can provide a superbill for out-of-network insurance coverage.
